Parmesan and Garlic Rice
This is a side dish that I created based off of a Rice-a-Roni box… I love rice as a side, and I like the Rice-a-Roni flavors, but I dont like the extra time it takes to make Rice-a-Roni. As an alternative I decided to add a few extras to my Uncle Ben’s 90 second rice. I love our new parmesan cheese shredder, and I used it for this recipe. (I’ve been meaning to take a photo of a couple of our new kitchen gadgets, so look for that post in the future.) All I did to add extra flavor to our white rice was shred fresh parmesan and add some organic garlic from our dried spices. This was a side to the sausage, peppers and onions that were on the menu for the night!
